WATCH: Nashville Animal Shelter Finds 90 Forever Homes, 20 Foster Homes for Homeless Pets
Metro Animal Care and Control declares Operation Silent Night as success as Nashville's shelter is nearly cleared for Christmas.

NASHVILLE, TN — In just three days leading up to Christmas, 90 animals were adopted from Metro Animal Care and Control's shelter and another 20 were fostered as part of MACC's Operation Silent Night.
On Wednesday, every kennel at the shelter was full and adoption fees were drastically reduced in a last-ditch effort to find families for homeless pets. By late Friday, the shelter was nearly cleared.
MACC posted a rapid-fire video of a walk-through of the shelter, showing mostly empty kennels, something that "seemed impossible just 72 hours ago."
