2 Charged In 5-Car Brentwood Interstate Crash
A five-car wreck near Brentwood on Interstate 65 closed the road for more than four hours Monday night.

BRENTWOOD, TN — Two people have been charged following a five-car crash on Interstate 65 near Brentwood that closed the road four more than four hours Monday night into early Tuesday morning.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, around 9:20 p.m. Monday near Concord and Moores Lane, a car driven by 29-year-old Matthew Reichman of Ripley stalled and was rear-ended, leading to a chain reaction that eventually involved three other vehicles.

Reichman, who was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with undisclosed injuries, is charged with driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance. The THP said there was also an unrestrained child in his car.
Another driver, 33-year-old Jose Bernardo of Antioch, is charged with driving without a license.
