30-Home Subdivision Planned Near Brentwood, Antebellum Home To Be Preserved
A subdivision of 30 $600,000 to $800,000 is planned just north of the Davidson-Williamson county line.

BRENTWOOD, TN — The developer of a new 30-home subdivision just north of the Davidson-Williamson county line will preserve an 1807 home on the property, according to The Tennessean.
Brentwood homebuilder Turnberry paid $3.1 million for 26.61 acres along Hill Road near Granberry Elementary School, according to Davidson County property records. Real estate agent Ron Jones told The Tennessean that Turnberry intends to preserve an 1807-built home on the property to eventually sell as a historic home. The property has belonged to the Cornelius-Granberry family for generations. They are a branch of the family that includes many famous Nashville surnames: Hill, Wentworth, Caldwell and others.

The new 3,500 to 4,500 square-foot homes in the subdivision will be priced in $600,000 to $800,000 range, Jones told the newspaper.
