Another Surgical-Masked Man Robs Another Brentwood Pharmacy

Echoing a pair of pharmacy stick-ups in April, a man in a surgical mask robbed a Brentwood Kroger Jan. 8.

BRENTWOOD, TN -- The pharmacy at a Brentwood Kroger was robbed earlier this month in a stick-up eerily similar to a pair of pharmacy robberies in the city last year.

Brentwood Police said a man wearing a white surgical mask entered the Franklin Road store around 9 p.m. Jan. 8, walked up to the pharmacy clerk as she was closing and forced her to open a safe containing prescription drugs at gunpoint before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a black man, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. In addition to a surgical mask, he was wearing a dark jacket, jeans and blue cap.

In April 2017, the Franklin Road Walgreens was robbed twice by men wearing surgical masks. None of the suspects in the three robberies are the same and appear to have no connection beyond their choices of facial covering and preference for pharmacies.
