- Jack Daniel's Music City Midnight: One of the country's largest New Year's Eve celebrations returns to Bicentennial Mall in 2017. Keith Urban will headline the concert once again. Also performing are Maren Morris, Cheap Trick, Carly Pearce, Johnny P and the Fisk Jubilee Singers. The free event opens at 4 p.m. with the raising of the music note at 6:15 p.m., followed by the beginning of the musical performances. The note, of course, drops at midnight. Visit the CVB web site for more details.
- Jimmy Buffet with Huey Lewis & The News: Bridgestone Arena hosts a concert as has become something of a Nashville tradition. Instead of the electro-dance of Skrillex, this year's concert will feature Jimmy Buffet and Huey Lewis & The News.
- Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: The Two-Toners will host the Sparkle Kitties in a Week 17 match-up that is shaping up to be for the AFC South championship. Tentatively, the kick-off is scheduled for noon, but if it ends up being for the divisional title, expect the league to flex it into primetime.
We’ll be adding new events to this post as they pop up, so be sure to check back as the big day nears!
