Brentwood Cruiser Smashed By Suspected Drunken Driver
A suspected drunken driver plowed into a Brentwood Police patrol car pulled over helping a disabled car.
BRENTWOOD, TN -- A potentially drunken driver smashed into a Brentwood Police Department patrol car late Friday night.
Two BPD officers pulled over on Interstate 65 to assist the driver of a disabled vehicle when another car, driven by a suspected drunken driver, veered off the road, plowing into the rear of the cruiser.
No one was hurt, but BPD is using the story to remind drivers to move over for stopped emergency vehicles on the shoulder.

The department did not identify the driver nor did it say if charges had been filed.
