Brentwood Home Damaged In Possible Lightning-Strike Fire
Lightning may have caused a Tuesday morning house fire in Brentwood.
BRENTWOOD, TN — Lightning from Tuesday morning's storms may have caused a house fire in Brentwood.
The man inside the home on Burland Crescent in the Cromwell neighborhood awoke around 7:30 a.m. from the sound of thunder. Just then, his daughter, who lives nearby, called him because she saw smoke coming from the house. The man was able to escape and call 911.
Brentwood firefighters were able to contain the blaze to one part of the house. No one was injured.
