Total Eclipse 2017 In Tennessee: Brentwood Library Offers Info, Free Glasses

Brentwood's library will host a presentation about August's solar eclipse and give away free glasses.

BRENTWOOD, TN — The August 21 solar eclipse is less than two months away and with Middle Tennessee considered one of the top viewing spots in the coast-to-coast event, preparations are underway.

The Brentwood Library is hosting a presentation 1 p.m. Wednesday from the Vanderbilt University Dyer Observatory and the Vanderbilt University Physics & Astronomy Department. Free eclipse-watching glasses will be available as long as supplies last.
