National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) is on Saturday, January 9 every year. The day encourages citizens come together to show appreciation to their local law enforcement.

You can show your support to local law enforcement by:
- Wearing blue all day
- Shining blue lights from your home
- Making cards for local law enforcement
- Giving thanks to a Police Officer
Each day local law enforcement is ready to protect citizens and a little positive recognition can go a long way. On January 9, let us all take a moment to show our Police Officers that the community appreciates their service!
