FEMA Flood Maps For Brentwood's Owl Creek Area Updated

The new maps show some areas where the flood zone impact is being reduced and other areas where the impact is being increased.

February 5, 2021

The City of Brentwood is in the process of adopting new flood zone maps for properties along Owl Creek in east Brentwood as required by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Adoption of the updated maps is a requirement for the City to maintain compliance with the FEMA Flood Hazard Insurance Program which allows affected property owners to purchase flood insurance. The updated maps are the result of a study of the Owl Creek corridor by the United States Corp of Engineers.
