Former Franklin Dance Teacher Indicted On More Child Sex Charges
Already facing statutory rape charges in Williamson County, a former Franklin dance teacher is now charged in Davidson County.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A former Franklin dance teacher, already charged with numerous sex crimes in Williamson County, is now accused of similar crimes in Davidson County.
Ross McCord, 29, of Brentwood, a former instructor at Franklin's DC Dance Factory, was arrested in December after the parents of a 14-year-old girl came to police with what investigators called "disturbing information."

The Williamson County grand jury indicted McCord on four counts of statutory rape by an authority figure, four counts of aggravated statutory rape, solicitation of sexual exploitation of a minor and exploitation of a minor by electronic means.
McCord was arrested again Tuesday following an indictment by the Davidson County grand jury on three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure, three counts of aggravated statutory rape and a singe county of solicitation of a minor. The new charges stem from additional crimes McCord allegedly committed in Davidson County against the original child victim.

He is jailed in Nashville and is due in court April 11.
