FREE Valentine's Day Cards

Characters of Character is here for you, to reinforce and teach, the importance of giving our children the tools and resources to be of good character! Earned an award through Character Education Partnership in Washington D.C. back in 2005 called a National Promising Practice Award, and so it began..........

In 2007 Characters of Character formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide a firm foundation for children to establish strong civic values. I am always trying to engage and impact our children to become the best they can be, for families to learn about the characters and for communities to welcome the characters into their homes, their facility and their hearts.

So, being that this Sunday is February 14th, Valentine's Day, my daughter Jennifer designed some cards for children to color and share with family and friends to let them know they care. Just click on the picture and you can print these out, color and take the opportunity to discuss what the traits are with your own children.

Teaching our children these vital core values is important. How do you teach your child these traits? You can learn more about the Characters of Character here. Last March my husband and myself took a road trip from Illinois to to visit with the Governor's Office to introduce our organization. We are moving to Tennessee this summer to plant roots, to have a facility to invite families, children, youth organizations and other community members to engage in our character building activities and lessons. Your business will have the opportunity to sponsor classes and become a part of building a better community and making a difference one child at a time.

Until we are there, we're working tirelessly planting seeds with the Characters of Character. Not only in Tennessee, we share resources nationally. We do have two projects in Tennessee going on, one of which is Building Confidence in Hendersonville and the other is our Children's Hospital donations of our Superhero Activity Boxes in Tennessee. Due to Covid, securing Sponsorships and funds is difficult. Should you want to become involved in any of these two projects, please reach out to Joni at anytime. There are levels of Sponsorships available, although any donation is appreciated. Our goal is $5,000 which will fulfill 250 of these boxes and truly make a difference in the life of a child. Be sure to think about the children, they are the future, they are the present and they need guidance, positive influences and role models to allow them to learn understand and internalize these character traits and help them make good choices in their daily lives and to become the best they can be, to grow into the beautiful person they are meant to be.

In the meantime, share your love with those you care about, tomorrow is not promised to anyone and in these different times we walk through, make a difference, make someone happy.
