Brentwood Family YMCA is dedicated to strengthening the Brentwood community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. You can volunteer with the Brentwood YMCA by participating in a variety of different community activities, fundraisers or mentoring programs. One of the most popular volunteer options offered at the Brentwood YMCA is to sign up as a youth sports coach. You'll teach athletic fundamentals to different age groups with a consistent focus on respect and sportsmanship.

Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee provides support and care to children battling life-threatening illnesses and their families. Make-A-Wish relies on dedicated volunteers to serve in different roles, such as fundraising, wish granting, medical outreach and special events. Interested in getting involved? Download and complete their volunteer application, submit it to vhaines@middletennessee.wish.org and you will receive an invitation to complete a Make-A-Wish volunteer orientation program. For those interested specifically in granting wishes, you'll need to sign up for Wish Granting Training. Wish granters must be 18 years of age or older.
Best Buddies Tennessee provides emotional support and community through one-on-one partnerships between those with and without disabilities. Best Buddies is a volunteer-based program that relies on engaged community members. You can volunteer with Best Buddies in a variety of different ways, like volunteering at a fundraising event, signing up to become a Best Buddy or interning at a local Best Buddies office.

Sweet Sleep is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that impoverished, orphaned or otherwise neglected children have their basic needs taken care of - namely, a warm bed. Sweet Sleep operates with four main principles in mind: Health, Security, Dignity and Rest. Want to get involved with Sweet Sleep? Simply complete their volunteer application and you will be contacted with a service opportunity that suits your strengths and skill sets.
Exile International is a nonprofit organization that works to transform rescued child soldiers from Eastern and Western Africa into community leaders and advocates for peace. Exile does this through therapeutic art practices and holistic rehabilitative care. Want to get involved? Exiled relies on engaged community members to serve as volunteers.
