Allstate employees earn $103,000 for American Cancer Society
The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to fund breast cancer research

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Dec. 28, 2017 – Allstate agency owners and financial specialists from the Chattanooga area recently came together with Allstate volunteers from six neighboring states to secure a $103,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit the American Cancer Society. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to save lives from breast cancer.
The Chattanooga-area volunteers earned the grant for the American Cancer Society by walking and providing event support such as passing out water at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event at Chattanooga State. The American Cancer Society will use the grant to further its work in breast cancer research, support services and early detection.
The participating Allstate volunteers are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.
