1 Dead, 1 Injured In East Nashville Shooting; Gunman At Large
A man stumbled for help after he was shot Tuesday in East Nashville. Police followed a trail of blood to find another man dead.
NASHVILLE, TN -- Police followed a trail of blood to a car and found a man dead, shot in the head Tuesday night.
At 9 p.m., 31-year-old Rodriquez Perkins banged on a door on Maplewood Trace, prompting the homeowner to call police. Perkins was laying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the arm. Police then followed the blood trail to a Hyundai sedan where they found Adrian Montgomery, 27, dead. Investigators said there was a handgun on the ground next to the car.
Police have not released information about a motive or suspects.
