2 Arrested For Having Sex In Public In Nashville: Police
Police say they caught the two having sex on the ground. One of the two had been drinking, police say, and resisted arrest.
NASHVILLE, TN — Two people were arrested Saturday in East Nashville after being caught having sex behind a building, Metro Police say. Janet Bell, 48, and John Beattie, 45, are facing multiple charges in relation to the incident.
WZTV reported police as saying "numerous citizens" saw the two, who were reportedly having sex on the ground behind a building at Gallatin Pike and Litton Avenue.
Police say they caught the two in the act. They reported Bell smelled like alcohol, had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes and had admitted to drinking throughout the day, WZTV reports.

Bell is being charged with indecent exposure, public intoxication and resisting arrest. She's being held on $1,200 bond.
Beattie is being charged with indecent exposure. He was jailed on $100 bond, WZTV reports.
