NASHVILLE, TN -- A man wanted for a March hotel robbery was arrested on drug charges Friday.

On March 26, according to Metro Police, a man working at the Relax Inn on Dickerson Pike said John Terry Moore, 52, barged into his room, demanding money at knifepoint. The man typically handled cash transactions for the motel's owner on Sunday and said that Moore knew he usually had significant cash on Monday mornings.

Moore and another man rifled through the man's pockets, finding only $18 and a key fob to a van, where they suspected the cash may have been stored, but the victim told police he'd already turned the cash over by the time of the robbery.

Moore was identified in a photo line-up but remained at large until Friday when he was picked up on drug charges.
