Character Building Activities for Kindness

Kindness Week

They say that love makes the world go round, well, frankly, so does kindness. Characters of Character would like to share some kindness building activities with you to engage your children in doing. Have a discussion on kindness. What does it mean to your child? What does it look like? How does it feel? Communicate with your family the importance of being kind, of doing acts of kindness and encourage them daily. Something else they say: "When you do something for a long period of time, it becomes a habit" Let's make it a habit to be kind.

This Friday is WORLD KINDNESS DAY and here at Characters of Character we are hosting a Virtual Food Pantry Drive for our local community. We encourage you to donate to your local pantry, too.

Also, visit us online to see what we're doing for the Hendersonville Library and also the Children's Hospitals in Tennessee. Covid is here, our children appreciate these Superhero Boxes that we donate to the hospitals, and, the staff really appreciate them! Each child gets their own box, no germs to be shared and to have positive character building activities is priceless. We are registered on GivingMatters for the State of Tennessee, too.
