Detectives Working To Identify Man Who Burglarized East Nashville Popeyes
The suspect clearly had inside information regarding the restaurant as he was able to access the business with a key, according to police.

East Precinct detectives are working to identify the man who on Sunday, May 9, burglarized the Popeyes at 3012 Gallatin Pike.

The suspect entered the restaurant at 4:50 a.m. He clearly had inside information regarding the restaurant as he was able to access the business with a key. He then appeared to call someone prior to opening the safe. The suspect left with cash, locking the door behind him.
The burglar wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a face covering (surveillance photos attached).
