Dickerson Pike Mainstay Charlie Bob's Closing

After 65 years, the no-frills Charlie Bob's restaurant will close its doors April 30.

NASHVILLE, TN — Since 1952, Charlie Bob's has been slinging hash, pouring beers and, occasionally, tossing back shots on Dickerson Road, one of the few remaining no-frills, no-fuss down home joints still around from that era.

But at the end of the month, Charlie Bob's will pour its last coffee and dish out its last breakfast. The restaurant's owner tells WSMV he'll close the doors April 30.
