Donelson Hotel Robbery Bid Ends In Shooting
A man was shot in the leg during an apparent robbery attempt at a Donelson hotel and the shooter is on the run.
DONELSON, TN -- A robbery attempt at a Donelson hotel ended in a shooting overnight.
A man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-critical injuries after he was shot in the leg at the Residence Inn on Elm Hill Pike.

Metro Police believe the man was targeted for robbery.
The suspect is a black man, standing 5-feet-9-inches tall and with dreadlocks. He reportedly drove away in a dark-colored Nissan.
