Early Voting in Nashville Area Begins Wednesday, Ends Nov. 3

The Davidson County Election Commission offers 12 locations to cast your ballot.

NASHVILLE, TN — Voters in Nashville and Davidson County can cast their ballots for the presidential and state general election at one of 12 early voting locations beginning Wednesday through Thursday, Nov. 3.

All 12 locations will be open for the entire early voting period, including some evenings and Saturdays. For a .pdf list of locations, click here.

When voting, all voters must present a federal or Tennessee state government-issued photo ID unless an exception applies. Student IDs are not acceptable.

“Early voting is easy and convenient,” said Jeff Roberts, Davidson County administrator of elections, in a statement. “The 12 locations and extended hours allow voters to decide what works best with their schedules.”

However, those voting on Election Day, Nov. 8, must go to their designated polling location.

Early voting sites open at 8 a.m. each day. They remain open until 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They are closed on Sundays.

A sample ballot has been mailed to all households with a registered Davidson County voter. Early voting locations and times, and a sample ballot, are posted at Nashville.gov/vote.

Voters are encouraged to review the sample ballot, make their selections and bring the sample ballot when they come to vote. For a .pdf document, click here.

The ballot includes races for President, the U.S. Congress, Tennessee State Senate and House of Representatives. Voters in the cities of Belle Meade, Forest Hills and Goodlettsville will also be voting for city commissioners.
