Youth Life Learning Center is an after school center whose mission is to 'nurture the child and strengthen the families in need.' Youth Life does not discriminate based on race or socio-economic status, and helps kids set personalized goals in academics, performing arts and athletics. You can enroll your child online.

Climb Nashville is an after school program that's suited perfectly for more active kids. Whether your child has never rock climbed before and is curious, or has some experience and wants to try rock climbing with other around their age, Climb Nashville has a program for them. The Youth Team program is open to children ages 7 - 17 and pairs teamwork with character building activities and problem solving exercises. Climb Nashville's after school program ends May 17. NAZA - Smartkids is an after school program that focuses on sports, dance, games, leadership and team building. NAZA programs are funded by the state of Tennessee and cater to students from a lower socioeconomic background, who might not have the same opportunities to engage with other students outside of the classroom. In addition to athletic activities, 'Smartkids' provides kids with personalized academic tutoring to help them complete their homework on time. Interested in enrolling your child? Metro Nashville Public Schools has several different extended care options for children enrolled in Nashville public schools. There are 3 options for parents to choose from, depending on the specific needs of their child. The fee based programs are available for kids ages pre-K through 4th grade and include both academic, social and athletic components. Community managed programs are facilitated by outside, third-party organizations who create an after school curriculum that cater to a specific skill or interest. 21st Century Community Learning Programs are a new addition for Metro Nashville Public schools, and cater to low-income, high-performing students with additional enrichment courses outside of the classroom.

YMCA After School Funco Care is an after school program that's open to all ages, from as young as 3 to sophomores in high school. This YMCA program is designed to create an enriching after school environment that's a safe space for all. Students will receive one-on-one academic tutoring, healthy, locally-based snacks and 30 minutes of an athletic activity. Interested in enrolling your child? You can do so online.
