Madison Community Center Groundbreaking Set

MADISON, TN — The ceremonial groundbreaking for a new regional community center in Madison is scheduled for February 23.

Construction on the 25,000 square-foot facility at the 31-acre Madison Park is expected to take 12 to 14 months Once completed, it will include a gymnasium, dance room, fully-equipped fitness center, meeting rooms and an indoor track. It will be LEED certified.

In addition, the park itself will get a new lighted soccer field, new playground and a new parking lot.

The existing Madison Neighborhood Center will remain open throughout construction, at which time many programs will transfer to the new center.
