Maplewood Football Field Damaged in School Bus Joyride
Vandals broke through a fence before doing donuts on the Panthers' field.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — School-bus stealing vandals did significant damage to Maplewood High School's football field.
A neighbor called police just before 12:30 Tuesday morning after seeing a school bus zooming from the parking lot at the school at a high rate of speed. The vandals crashed the bus through two fences, drove over the school's track and then made donuts on the football field.
Metro Schools used a replacement bus to serve the routes without delay this morning and school opened as normal.
