A Mystery As Man Found In Car, Shot In Head In East Nashville
Detectives are searching for clues after a man was found shot in the head inside a car outside a community center Tuesday.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A man died after being shot in the head near an East Nashville community center Tuesday.
Metro Police found Quintin Brooks, 24, inside a car parked at the McFerrin Park Community Center around 9:15 Tuesday night. Investigators said they found shell casings on nearby Berry Street and they are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the shooter.
According to a NewsChannel 5 review, there have been 68 crimes reported within a half-mile of McFerrin Park in the last six weeks, a third of which have been assaults.
