Pack Of Bandits Caught Cartin' Off Cigarettes: Police
Metro Police arrested three men accused of stealing cigarettes in an East Nashville smash-and-grab Thursday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- In the latest in a series of Midstate cigarette heists, three men were arrested following an East Nashville smash-and-grab Thursday.
Metro Police responded to an alarm at a Shell in the 4800 block of Gallatin Pike around 3:15 Thursday morning where someone had smashed in the front door of the station and stolen cigarettes.

Police said they arrested the three perpetrators at the intersection of Dickerson Pike and Hart Lane.
Detectives in Nashville and in neighboring Cheatham County are investigating if a rash of cigarette thefts, including one in South Nashville Tuesday, are connected. In all of the recent cases, doors have been smashed and numerous packs of cigarettes have been hauled away.
