Patch's East Nashville Holiday Donation Guide

Whether you want to donate time, money or household items, there is a charity in East Nashville that will benefit from your donation.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN - This holiday season, give back to the East Nashville community by donating your time, money or gently used items to one of these local charities.

Catholic Charities of Nashville will be serving the homeless and hungry populations in Nashville this holiday season, and they need help from the community to do so. You can make a one-time donation, you can volunteer as a refugee youth mentor, an after school tutor or to be part of the meal delivery team. Catholic Charities of Tennessee is also accepting 'In-Kind' donations. They are accepting:

  • Office supplies - Dry Erase White Board (6 feet x 4 feet) or Large Smart Board; Dry erase markers/erasers
  • Craft supplies - Craft paper (tissue paper, card stock, etc.); Fabric; Knitting and crocheting supplies
  • Hygiene supplies - Adult diapers
  • Daily supplies - Paper plates
  • Food - Fresh fruits (bananas, grapes, strawberries, fruits that are easily eaten by aging teeth and dentures)

East Nashville Cooperative Ministries is a nonprofit dedicated to providing health and wellness to members of the East Nashville community. They seek to meet the spiritual, educational, economical and emotional needs of the citizens in East Nashville neighborhoods. If you'd like to support ENCM, you can volunteer for one of their various service projects. This holiday season, you can donate to East Nashville Cooperative Ministries and help support their different community enriching projects. ENCM is accepting non-monetary donations as well, such as:

  • Blankets
  • Socks
  • Coats
  • Gently used men's and women's clothes
  • Gloves

United South and Eastern Tribes is a nonprofit dedicated to recognizing the rights of indigenous American tribes and providing a voice for Native American peoples in matters of public policy. If you're interested in supporting United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) this holiday season, you can become a sponsor and make a monetary contribution to one of their various legislative projects. You can also volunteer to join one of their group work task forces. These are specialized, goal-oriented community service groups with projects aimed at improving the lives of Native peoples in America.
