I have always been a fan for writing things down, especially in a Journal. When our now adult kids were little, I'd have them write things down that they weren't ready to share with me at the time. To this day, they are all three really good writers and communicators!
Working in kindergarten and on the school reading team, I learned a lot of the process in writing as well. It's important to allow a child to express their thoughts on the paper, if it's through literacy, through art, paints, crayons, etc. so long as they get it down on paper, it's a great release for one, you should try it! I first started to journal with art and thoughts last year and have quite a few filled now. You can simply use copy paper, print out a page from the above book and let your child color it, talk about it and then use it as a cover or a sticker chart. Make it a visual. We have journals laying around the house to this day, just to grab and write notes, a thought or a message. You can certainly find journals to purchase online as well, or, use a spiral notebook or blank pages to build one.

Take life one day at a time. Don't become anxious if you're not where you want to be, you're where you're suppose to be, don't be overwhelmed if you haven't finished a task, progress is progress and will get the task done!
