Report: Popular East Nashville Venue FooBar To Close Monday

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — Popular East Nashville watering hole and venue FooBar will close after Monday's show, according to a report from the Nashville Scene.

The Scene reports Palaver Records' Gary Branigan was told the label's long-running Thursday showcase would be cancelled this week and henceforth. Branigan, and others, told the Scene that FooBar's recent paint job was part of a re-brand that will see the venue re-open as "Cobra."

The Scene has contacted FooBar owners, but noted that immediately after reaching out via Facebook, the bar deleted its page.
