Section Of I-24 In Nashville Closing For Repairs This Weekend
The eastern loop of Interstate 24 in Nashville will be closed through Monday morning for bridge rehabilitation.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Some Nashville Predators fans may find returning home after Friday night's Game 5 a little more challenging than usual, as the entire eastern loop of Interstate 24 in Nashville will be closed starting at 8 p.m. Friday.
As part of the ongoing I-24 rehabilitation project, crews will close I-24 between the I-24/I-40 split and the I-24/I-65 split. The interstate will re-open by 8 a.m. Monday.

Jefferson Street, Main Street, Woodland Street, and Korean Veterans Boulevard bridges will all remain open to provide access to downtown from East Nashville. Spring Street will be closed, but drivers can access Jefferson Street via North 1st Street.

- To I-24 West and I-65 North: Ellington and Briley Parkway
- To I-40/I-24 East and I-65 NB: Fourth Avenue
- I-65/I-40 West: Rosa L Parks Boulevard
- I-65 South: Wedgewood Avenue
A full road closure and detour map is available from TDOT.
Major work on the Spring Street and Oldham Street bridges was completed last fall. This weekend's closure will provide for maintenance and paving work.
