Sobriety Checkpoint Set For Friday In East Nashville
Metro Police will be checking for drunken drivers Friday night into Saturday morning at a checkpoint in East Nashville.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The fireworks may be over, but the Metro Nashville Police Department knows the parties may just be beginning as revelers take advantage of the mid-week Independence Day to stretch the holiday into a mini-vacation. And party on, but do responsibly.
MNPD, via a grant from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office, will set up a sobriety checkpoint Friday evening into early Saturday morning on Gallatin Avenue in East Nashville.
