Teen Carjackers Arrested After Cross-County Chase: Police

Two 15-year-old carjackers were arrested after a 20-plus-mile county-crossing chase, police say.

NASHVILLE, TN -- After a more-than-20-mile-long chase crossing the county, Metro Police arrested a pair of 15-year-olds accused in a Donelson carjacking Thursday night.

A woman told police three armed teens took her car from Longfellow Drive in Donelson just after 10 p.m. Shortly thereafter, police spotted the woman's car near Brick Church Pike and began a pursuit.

The teens did not pull over, so Metro Police sent up a helicopter which tracked the car to an apartment complex near River Road's intersection with Charlotte Pike, some 22 miles from where the Honda Accord was taken.
