Trump In Nashville: The Hermitage To Close Wednesday, Birthday Of Andrew Jackson; President To Lay Wreath

The Hermitage had half-price admission and a slate of activities scheduled for Jackson's 250th birthday Wednesday, but now it will close.

HERMITAGE, TN — You only turn 250 once, but a presidential visit even outranks a sestercentennial.

The Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson, had a full slate of activities and half-price admission planned for the seventh president's 250th birthday, but a visit from the 45th president will close the home Wednesday.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer confirmed in his Monday briefing that Trump will lay a wreath at Jackson's tomb at The Hermitage Wednesday ahead of his rally at Municipal Auditorium.
