Woman Admits To East Nashville Daylight Stick-Up: Police
A 23-year-old woman is charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly admitting to a Wednesday afternoon robbery in East Nashville.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 23-year-old woman admitted to robbing and shooting a man in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon, according to Metro Police.
Keinesa Lillard told investigators she was the shooter who robbed a 57-year-old Wisconsin man, reportedly a songwriter visiting Nashville, outside a strip of popular East Nashville restaurants Wednesday afternoon.
The man had parked his car near Mas Tacos and The Pharmacy at McFerrin and West Eastland around 1:30 p.m., calling to see if the restaurants were open. Witnesses told police that a Dodge Avenger with two women inside pulled up next to him and the passenger hopped out, pulled a gun and demanded the man's belongings.

At some point during the confrontation, the woman shot the man in the torso, police say.

He was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries, but is expected to recover.
Later, police located the Avenger and took Lillard in for questioning. A handgun was found inside the car.
Lillard is charged with evading arrest, drug possession, unlawful gun possession and especially aggravated robbery.
