82-Year-Old Woman Killed In Belle Meade Crash
A Thursday wreck in Belle Meade killed an 82-year-old woman and injured three others, including her husband.

BELLE MEADE, TN -- An 82-year-old woman died and three other people were injured in a two-car crash in Belle Meade Thursday morning.
Seawall and Margaret Brandau, both 82, were traveling south on Harding Pike in a Hyundai Sonata. Mr. Brandau turned left onto Jackson Boulevard and the car was hit by a Dodge Avenger driven by 24-year-old Joshua Vaughn traveling north on Harding.
Witnesses told police Vaughn did not have time to stop before hitting the passenger side of the Sonata.

The Brandaus, Vaughn and his passenger, Shanekqua Buchanan, also 24, were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where Mrs. Brandau died. The other three have non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
