Boozy Teen Pepper Sprays Uber Driver: Nashville Police

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 19-year-old allegedly pepper sprayed her Uber driver in Oak Hill early Tuesday after the driver urged her and her friend to get back inside his car.

According to a police report, Dayana Aguirre and her friend got of the car at the intersection of Harding Place and Franklin Road around 2 a.m. Tuesday because one of them needed to throw up.

When the traffic light turned green, the driver told the pair to get back inside “several times” and then Aguirre pepper-sprayed the driver, Metro Police said.

The women then ran from the car. Aguirre was later identified and arrested.

She is charged with assault and underage consumption of alcohol.
