Temperatures in Green Hills will climb through the weekend, but rain threatens.

GREEN HILLS, TN — A wet and slightly warmer New Year's weekend is ahead, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Green Hills. Daytime temperatures will creep into the mid 60s by Monday, but rain chances threaten throughout the weekend.
Friday: Sunny, with a high of 46. A clear night, low of 31.
New Year's Eve: Mostly cloudy, then a 60 percent chance of showers after noon, high of 47. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph. An 80 percent chance of showers in the evening, with a low of 44. Winds of 5 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph.

New Year's Day: A 70 percent chance of showers, otherwise cloudy, high of 55. A 50 percent chance of showers after dark, otherwise mostly cloudy, low of 53.
Monday: An 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high of 64. Winds of 5 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph. A 60 percent chance of showers and storms overnight, particularly before midnight, otherwise mostly cloudy, low of 56.
