Green Hills Salon Employee Attacked

NASHVILLE, TN -- An employee at Green Hills' Salon YaYa was assaulted and robbed as she took out the trash Wednesday night, according to Metro Police.

A man with a gun approached her around 8 p.m. and demanded the woman's purse. When she refused, the man hit her with the pistol and took the purse.

The attacker and another person were spotted driving away in a late-model gold Ford Taurus.

It was the second of two attacks in Green Hills Wednesday after a man was shot in the stomach a half-mile away at the Green Hills Library one hour earlier.
