Green Hills Weather Forecast: A Warm, Wet and Windy Week

The second week of January in Green Hills and West Nashville will feel like spring.

GREEN HILLS, TN — After a frigid weekend, the work week will be very springlike, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Green Hills. Temperatures will be in the 60s for much of the week, with strong south winds and solid rain chances daily.

Monday: Sunny and warmer, with a high of 40. Mostly cloudy and windy after dark, low of 36 with south winds of 10 to 20 mph gusting to 30 mph.

Tuesday: Cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers after noon, with a high of 55. South winds of 20 to 25 mph gusting to 35 mph. An 80 percent chance of showers and maybe a storm overnight, with a low around 50. Winds of 10 to 20 mph gusting to 30 mph.

Wednesday: An 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high of 62. A 40 percent chance of showers and storms in the evening, with a low of 57. South winds of 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of showers, otherwise cloudy with a high of 66. Winds of 15 mph gusting to 25 mph. A 40 percent chance of showers after sundown, otherwise cloudy with a low of 52.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of rain, otherwise cloudy with a high of 61. A 40 percent chance of showers overnight, with a low of 46.
