Gunman Sought After Bellevue Fender-Bender Road Rage Shooting

BELLEVUE, TN -- A fender bender at one of Bellevue's busiest intersections led to gunfire Monday night.

Around 9:45 Monday night, a Honda rear-ended another vehicle at the intersection of Highway 100 and Old Hickory Boulevard. The Honda's passenger got out of the car and began arguing with the driver of the other car. That argument led to a physical altercation and, ultimately, the passenger of the Honda shot the driver of the other vehicle, according to police.

The shooter then got back into the Honda , which headed east on Highway 100. The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The search continues for the shooter and the Honda.
