Nashville 15th In High-Dollar Homes: Report
According to a study from Lending Tree, 1.52 percent of homes in Nashville are $1 million or more, the 15th highest share in the country.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A new report found that Nashville market has the 15th largest share of million-dollar homes among major American cities.
LendingTree, which helps connect homebuyers with mortgages, found that 1.52 percent of Nashville's residential real-estate market share is in homes priced at $1 million or more. Unsurprisingly, the cities leading the list are by and large coastal. The only inland cities ahead of Nashville on the list were Denver and Austin, Texas. The top three spots were held by California cities - San Jose, San Francisco and Los Angeles - with New York coming in just ahead of San Diego to keep the top 4 from being a Golden State grand slam.
Though the overall median home price in Nashville is $235,000, the third-lowest among the top 20 cities on the list, the median price for seven-figure homes in the Music City area is $1.283 million.
