Nashville neighbors tweet about “Soul of America”

Actor Reese Witherspoon (Oak Hill and Hollywood) tweeted her neighbor historian Jon Meacham’s “The Soul of America: The Battle for Our Better Angels” is “a great read.” His book focuses on historical events that mirror today’s political divisions. MSNBC commentator Meacham (A Bard of Belle Meade) caught Witherspoon’s tweet and retweeted it. We wonder if those two ever hang out chatting over their back fences. Witherspoon called “so fascinating” Meacham’s recent interview on PBS: “What history teaches us about surviving times of turmoil.” Stay tuned!
