Nashville's Brandt Snedeker Drops Out Of PGA Championship

Nashville pro golfer Brandt Snedeker will miss his second straight major with a hip injury.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Nashvillian Brandt Snedeker will not play in this weekend's PGA Championship, he announced Monday.

Snedeker, the 2012 FedEx Cup Champion, finished tied for 56th at the PGA Championbship last year. His best finish was a tie for 12th at Wisconsin's Whistling Straits in 2015. The PGA is the only one of golf's four majors in which Snedeker has not finished in the top 10.
