Tullahoma Doc Pens Poems About Radnor Lake
Proceeds from the sale of the poetry book will benefit Friends of Radnor Lake.
It's 75 miles, give or take, from Tullahoma to Radnor Lake State Park.
It's not a long drive, but it's long enough to keep it from being an everyday trip. The pocket of pristine wilderness tucked away not far from downtown Nashville is a favorite of many, in part because it's convenient to city dwellers.
But those that live a bit farther afield sometimes can only visit in their mind's eye. And imagination and memory can be inspiration, as it is for Tullahoma orthopedic surgeon Mittur Ramprasad and his wife, Asha.

The Ramprasads are out with a book of 108 poems inspired by the 1,332-acre state natural area with the proceeds going to the Friends of Radnor Lake, according to the Tullahoma News.
Copies of the book, which includes a glowing foreword from Tennessee's poet laureate Margaret Britton Vaughn, are available for $9.95 from Ramprasad's office at 509 N. Atlantic Street, Tullahoma, TN, 37388.
