Vanderbilt Ranked One Of 'Best Colleges For Your Money'
Vanderbilt ranked 15th on Money magazine's ranking of the best education values in the country.

NASHVILLE, TN — Looking for value from a college education? Look to West End.
Money magazine ranked Vanderbilt the 15th Best College For Your Money in its annual ranking of bang-for-your-buck higher ed. Though eight other Tennessee colleges and universities were among the 700 ranked by the magazine, no other schools were in the Top 200. Money said the ranking is “new, uniquely practical analysis” that draws on research and advice from some of the nation’s leading experts on education quality, financing and value.

Here’s why Vanderbilt ranked 15th in the Money 2017 Best Colleges For Your Money ranking for 2017-2018:
- Estimated net cost without financial aid: $67,100
- Estimated net cost with average grant: $24,800
- Percent receiving need-based assistance: 45
- Percent receiving merit-based assistance: 20
- Average early-career earnings for graduates: $57,900
