Vanderbilt Vs. Alabama Football: Everything You Need To Know

Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide visit Vanderbilt Saturday night in what is incredibly the Southeastern Conference's most intriguing match-up of the week and involving two 4-0 teams. The Commodores are coming off a key non-conference win over the previously undefeated Kansas State Wildcats. Once cross-over intra-divisional rivals before the expansion of the conference to 14 teams, this is the first meeting between the teams since 2011, a 34-0 win for the Tide in Tuscaloosa. Vanderbilt's last "win" in the series came in 1993, which, on the field, was a 17-6 Alabama victory that was later forfeited due to NCAA sanctions (Alabama vacated, but did not forfeit, wins against Vandy in 2006 and 2007). The last Vanderbilt win was a 30-21 victory in Tuscaloosa in 1984; the last on-the-field win for Vandy in Nashville was 14-10 in October 1969. This is the teams' 81st meeting. Vanderbilt has 19 wins, five of which came in the series' first five games.

It's the first game in a tough conference stretch for Vandy with Florida and Georgia on the docket in the coming weeks.
