Portion Of Baxter Street To Close Until August For Culvert Replacement In Johnson City

Baxter Street between East 8th and East 9th avenues will be closed May 4 through Aug. 31 for a scheduled culvert replacement. Emergency traffic will not be able to pass. A detour utilizing East 8th Avenue, Mountain View Circle North and East 9th Avenue will be in place. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
