SWAT Standoff In Louisville At Apartment Complex
The standoff began around 9 a.m. Saturday.

LOUISVILLE, TN - The Blount County sheriff's SWAT team was engaged in a standoff Saturday morning at an apartment complex. Police arrived around 9 a.m. at the Manor Way Apartments.
According to reports, the man had threatened suicide by cop. Negotiators were on scene, and the SWAT team was trying to get the man to come out on his own.
The Associated Press reports that police have taken one person into custody and are talking by phone with the armed man inside a house on the 3000 block of Faywood, not far from Churchill Downs.

The incident reportedly started with a robbery at a McDonalds on Louisville's south side.
