Cocaine, Pot, Cash Found During La Vergne Bust: Police
A La Vergne man faces numerous drug charges after investigators say they found cocaine and marijuana inside his home.
LA VERGNE, TN -- La Vergne Police arrested a 39-year-old man after a search and drug bust at his home Friday night.
Narcotics detectives and a SWAT team served a search warrant on the Sunrise Avenue home of Michael Watts. Detectives say they found 1.25 ounces of cocaine, a pound of marijuana and $9,500 cash inside the house.
Watts is charged with felony possession of Schedule II and Schedule VI drugs, maintaining a dwelling for the use of sale of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
